Enjoyable work was turning a replacement bell from a rough casting

New engine side panels were made as the originals were rusted beyond restoration

As the original side panel louvres had been 'cleaned' with an angle grinder a punch was made to press out new brass louvres.

A new brass radiator cap was one of the first things to be made

The radiator header tank overflow pipe had been replaced at one time by a crude pipe made from domestic plumbing copper tube and fittings

A replacement in thick wall brass pipe with original pattern flanges looks far more appropriate
