This is a general view of the re-facer. The valve is inserted into the motorised drive on the right side.

The seat is ground at an angle of 30 degrees. The valve rotates at about 60 rpm. It is essenetial to grind the valves with and ample flow of coolant.

Perfect valve faces, ready for lapping into the valve seats.
